Help me with my dissertation research!
Help! I’m a scholar in the midst of a research project looking at the future of imaging technology and want to talk to people in the Bay Area who take and SHARE lots of photos of fashion or crafts. More than the average Instagram addict. Do you know anyone like this?
The project goes like this: we interview these folks about how, why, when, where they take and share their photos so that we can design future technologies to make their efforts easier. We aim to do so in late-July to early August, and happily compensate for people’s time and effort.
Who are these folks? They would…
-have gigabytes and gigabytes of photos;
- have a big internet presence: a blog, tons social media accounts, preferably for quite some time
- frequently post them to Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, or Pinterest
- Pool their photos in places like Ravelry or Wardrobe remix
- juggle several digital cameras, a smartphone, and a tablet and/or a laptop
